work is boring today. i've had to deal with nothing but total idiots, morons,and assholes! problem tickets and problem people! argh!! and it's such a shame too.. b/c eveyrone should be in a great mood! it's a beautiful day outside, the sun is bright, and there is a wonderful breeze. there is a distinct smell in the air. i smelled fresh cut grass this morning, and later on, it smelled of autumn peeking it's head out to say hello. fall is coming, and i cannot wait! the colors of the world changing from pinks and purples and blues to burgandys, browns, and hunter green and yellow. yay!
i did a rainbow origami wreath yesterday! i really really like the way it turned out! i'm need to glue the pieces so they stay. but i think i'm going to get some ribbon, and actually hang it up! makes me think that they would be really pretty on the christmas presents. people could use them as ornaments for their trees as well. yay! trying to figure out what all do do for christmas for everyone. i know what to get deena.. she's hinted to a couple of things. i know what to get lee lee. but i'm having difficulties trying to figure out what to get everyone. i am going to be dead ass broke now. so part of me wants to just not really celebrate b/c i'm going to be depressed and mad that i can't buy for everyone the way i want to. sigh. i think it would be neat to have a christmas where we don't actually buy presents for anyone. we only handmake stuff to give to one another. have a christmas the way it used to be done a long time ago. be simple, and remember the real reason for the holiday. just enjoy one another's company and not be so stressed out ya know. as much as i love christmas, it's too damn stressful! everyone is grouchy and running arond like crazy people. we forget to just enjoy the lights, the smells, the sounds, the spirit, etc. sigh..
oh.. i'm building up on my cookbook as well. wondering if i should pass some recipes on to teg and mom and them or not. ever since mom made us our cookbooks for christmas, which i use allll the time (it's well loved), i've wanted to expand upon it. i am switching it all over to a three ringed binder and putting the recipes in plastic covers. that way when i spill food on it, which i tend to do, i can wipe it off. b/c my poor pages have all sorts of shmootz on them! :)
well, i guess that's about it in my little world!
